Explore the ever-changing world of Critter Camp!
With week-long camps from 9 am to 5 pm, campers can discover new activities each week. Engage in hands-on encounters with a diverse range of animals, giving kiddos educational enrichment and entertainment!
Need early or late care? No problem. And for families with multiple campers, enjoy exclusive sibling discounts.

“Living in an Animal Paradise” & “Take me to Horse Heaven”
Do you have a huge horse lover? Well then this camp is absolutely for you! For five whole days we center our world around all things equestrian.
Each group will get a minimum of thirty minutes a day having lessons with Cathy, including riding and care!
When we are not in the saddle we will continue our equestrian theme through crafts, activities, water games, and forging lifelong friendships through both work and fun!

Critter Camp is for kids ages 5-12.
Camp days are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, and we also offer early & late care.
Campers need to wear clothes that can get dirty & closed-toe shoes.
They should bring a snack and lunch, as well as a refillable water bottle. Everything MUST be labeled with the camper’s name!

Exploring the Unique World of Two-Toed Sloths: Meet Sunni, the Adorable Adventurer
Sloths, those charming creatures known for their unhurried pace and endearing smiles, come in two main varieties: the two-toed and three-toed sloths. Today, we're diving into the fascinating world of two-toed sloths, with a special focus on our newest resident, a two-year-old dynamo named Sunni.
**1. Number of Toes:**
- Sunni, like all two-toed sloths, boasts two functional toes on each front limb, adding a touch of uniqueness to their distinctive charm. Surprisingly, despite the name, they sport three toes on their hind limbs.
**2. Taxonomy:**
- Our beloved Sunni belongs to the Choloepus genus, a classification that includes two species: Linnaeus's Two-Toed Sloth (Choloepus didactylus) and Hoffman's Two-Toed Sloth (Choloepus hoffmanni).
**3. Size:**
- At two years old, Sunni is already displaying the characteristic size range of two-toed sloths, weighing in at a delightful 13 pounds (3.6 to 8.2 kg).
**4. Activity Levels:**
- Sunni is a daytime enthusiast, showcasing the more diurnal tendencies often seen in two-toed sloths. Her playful adventures during daylight hours distinguish her from her nocturnal counterparts.
**5. Diet:**
- Like other two-toed sloths, Sunni enjoys a varied diet that includes fruits, leaves, and the occasional nibble on small vertebrates. Her culinary preferences reflect the adaptability of these charming creatures.

- Sunni's feet are designed for a unique climbing lifestyle. Each foot has two elongated, curved claws made of keratin, the same sturdy protein found in human hair and nails. This composition provides a firm grip on branches, allowing Sunni to navigate her arboreal habitat with impressive agility. The two toes on the front limbs, also crafted from keratin, further contribute to the strength and flexibility needed for the sloth's climbing and grasping activities. 3. Those large ears help dissipate heat and are sensitive to detect prey and predators.

4. Fennec foxes are nocturnal, mainly active during the cooler night hours to avoid the desert's extreme daytime temperatures.
5. They have a keen sense of hearing and can locate prey, such as insects and small rodents, beneath the sand.
6. Fennec foxes have fur on their feet, providing insulation against the hot desert sand.
7. Their diet includes a variety of foods, ranging from insects and small mammals to fruits and vegetation.
8. Fennec foxes are skilled diggers, creating burrows to escape the desert heat and predators.
9. Their fur is pale in color, helping reflect sunlight during the day and retain heat during the colder nights.
